Since the old days of floppy disks and Oregon Trail, there's been something really special about computer games that millions of people just love. Sitting in your chair, using your mouse and keyboard to game, you're in total control. And with a game like Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, you will definitely need to be in total control, or you could end up in a gnarly wipe-out that costs you position as you're racing through the twisting, turning city streets or snow-covered mountain roads.

Asphalt 6: Adrenaline was developed by GameLoft. It is available as a full version download for free. At this point in the game's history, they're not going to charge you for it, nor will you need to buy any additional add-ons from inside the game to enjoy it. How Asphalt 6: Adrenaline Works

Like Need for Speed, Grand Turismo and other classic racing games, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline is a no-muss, no-fuss setup that takes you right to the action. As soon as you install the program and launch the game, you get to pick your mode of racing, the car you want to drive, and the track on which you will race. Then it's as simple as reading about the controls. If you're not satisfied with the game's configuration, however, you unfortunately cannot customize them. The existing controls aren't hard, but there's no way to get a custom rigging here.

You have a really cool selection of super-fast sports cars from which you can choose here, including Aston Martin, Ducati, Ferrari and Lamborghini models, and more. The basic idea is to place or win the races to earn money. Money can then be used to purchase new cars and after-market upgrades, which will help you race with more speed.

Perhaps the game's biggest feature here is the expanse of the game in totality. For instance, you have 55 entirely unique racing circuits here, so you can really mix and match where you're racing and stay busy for quite a long time. You can also select options like day or night, so you'll get a bright, sunny day, or a night scene where you must use headlights.

Another cool feature is that you can race on Career Mode, which allows you to climb up the ranks, compete with all six racers side by side, and try to best them over the course of multiple races. There's no real story of which to speak, but the career aspect is pretty cool.
